Nutrition,
Without the Friction
Four ways to log — including just telling Ari what you ate. Every meal you shoot is kept. And your targets adapt to your real data, and to your training and recovery, because they don't happen in isolation.
Log Your Way
From a quick snap to a detailed breakdown—choose the method that fits your moment. Fast when you need fast. Precise when you want precision.
Snap a Photo
Take a picture of your plate. Ari analyzes it, estimates portions, and logs the macros automatically.
Tell Ari
“A burrito bowl from Chipotle with steak, rice, black beans, guac.” Ari parses the order and matches it to the menu.
Scan Barcode
Packaged foods? Scan the barcode. Instant macro lookup from our database of millions of products.
Quick Log
Had it before? One tap re-logs anything from your previously logged items. Zero friction.
It Tells You How Sure It Is
Food tracking quietly falls apart on the difference between a known number and a guess — most apps log both the same way. Sanctify labels every item with where its numbers came from.
Whole foods, from the source
Real ingredients resolve against USDA reference data and say so — Beef, short loin, raw. And it asks the question nobody else does: was that weight raw or cooked? Eight ounces means two different meals, and getting it wrong is the most common silent error in tracking.
Restaurants we hold
When the restaurant is in the database, your meal is matched to its published menu and marked as such — the restaurant's own figures, whether you photographed the plate or just told Ari what you ordered.
And when it doesn't know
No quiet substitution of something similar. It names what it's missing — I don't have Truly yet — marks the numbers as its own estimate, and offers to learn: tap to enter what the label says and it remembers.
You see all of this before anything is logged. Every meal is staged first — provenance labels, per-item macros and all — so you can change a portion, add what you forgot or throw it out. Nothing lands in your day until you say so.
And the database is built rather than scraped — restaurants and brands added one at a time, corrected by the people actually eating the food. Every week the list of things we can log as fact rather than estimate gets longer, and the app never pretends the two are the same.
A Food Journal You'll Actually Look At
Every meal you shoot is kept — dated, named and costed in macros. Not a spreadsheet of numbers you never reopen, but a record of what you actually ate, that you can scroll back through months later.
Every meal, kept
Grouped by day, tagged with the meal and its macros. Scroll back and you can see exactly how a month actually went — not a number you have to trust.
Broken down, and correctable
Each plate is split into its parts with its own numbers. Every one is labelled Ari's estimate — tap any number to fix it. It never pretends a guess is a measurement.
“I ate this again”
One tap re-logs a meal you've had before. And when Ari doesn't know a restaurant it says so — tap to enter what the label says and I'll remember it — so the next time, it does.
Calorie Intelligence
Generic calculators guess. Ari learns. Two weeks of real data—weigh-ins, measurements, progress photos—and your calorie targets become surgically precise.
Start with Science
Initial targets based on your stats, activity level, and goal (lose, maintain, gain). Good enough to start—but it gets better.
Calibrate with Data
Log weigh-ins. Take measurements. Snap progress photos. More data = more accurate targets. Two weeks is the sweet spot.
Adapt Over Time
Metabolism changes. Life happens. Ari continuously adjusts based on your actual results, not a static formula from day one.
Your Guardrails, Always On
Allergies. Intolerances. Diet preferences. Health concerns. Set them once, and Ari guards them everywhere—recipes, saved meals, and every logging suggestion.
Allergies & Intolerances
Peanuts, gluten, dairy, shellfish—whatever your body can't handle, Ari remembers and filters everything.
Diet Preferences
Keto, vegan, Mediterranean, carnivore—your eating philosophy is respected in every recommendation.
Health Concerns
Watching sodium, sugar or anything else? Tell Ari once and it holds that constraint — filtering suggestions and flagging what conflicts. Guidance on managing a condition stays with your clinician.
Macro Targets
High protein? Low carb? Custom splits? Set your targets and Ari keeps you aligned meal by meal.
